Patient with only Medicare Part A: Can I charge cash?

If a patient only has medicare part A (hospital coverage), but not part B (actual outpatient medicare), I can charge them cash if I am not yet opted out, right?

I am trying to just not see patients with medicare until I am done moonlighting and opt out to avoid any fraud, but if someone only part A, they are paying cash anyway, right?

I have not come across that.

I think I would handle it as follows, if such a patient came to me.   I would have them sign the usual note that they are responsible.
I would probably bill Medicare the first time, then if denied, I would bill the patient.  Subsequently would bill patient directly.
